Sanctum in Mentone is a fantastic local spot — stylish, welcoming, and always consistent. The coffee is excellent, the food is fresh and beautifully presented, and the staff make you feel right at home. Whether it’s breakfast, brunch, or just a quick coffee catch-up, everything is done with care and attention to detail. A real gem in the area — highly recommend!

Delicious coffee, wholesome food and a million dollar view! Sanctum is such a beautiful cafe in an incredible location. We took our young kids who enjoyed milkshakes followed by a play at the playground across the road. I recommend following the cafe on Instagram to keep up with the salad of the day - each one looks fresh and flavourful!

Sanctum is my favourite morning pick me up. Nothing beats the welcoming smiles from the lovely staff, perfect coffee, & cosy warm spot to appreciate the bay Winter views. And the Egg Bites are so yum!!!! Thank you Sanctum

Came for brunch with my friend on her birthday and what a beautiful place. The staff welcome you with big smiles, we ordered the avo on toast and it was delicious and they even brought out a slice of orange cake to say happy birthday to my friend, what a lovely touch, thank you and the cake was so yummy. Ordered coffee to go so we could take it with us on our walk along the beach and they even gave my dog a little treat too. All these little touches along with the delicious food make this a must visit if you’re in the area (or not as it’s worth the trip).

My friend and I visit Sanctum Cafe every weekend after a beach walk. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. The coffee and food is always delicious and fresh, made with love. I highly recommend visiting Sanctum!

This cafe has been on my list for a couple of months (Great spot & great view). Love the fit out and vibe. Good selection of toasted sandwiches and healthy goodness. Service was incredible!!! I had a yummy green smoothly and my son a thick choc shake. I took a smoked salmon bagel away (my son spotted the park across the road). Best smoked salmon bagel I’ve had for a long while. They also serve monks chai which is a fave!!!! Very excited! Will be back.
